Prince Edward Island hosted the 2023 Canada Games, an event that brought together over 2,500 young athletes across Canada. Frédérik Bemeur-Thorson, Ava Katrine-Bicknell, Alexandria Crisostomo, Olivia Gagné, Karim Michael, Yasmine Michael, Marat Sargsyan and Youssef Ahmed Aly Sarhan, accompanied by coaches Sophie Joubarne and Dave Phillips, proudly wore the colors of the province of Quebec. They experienced intense emotions and gave the best of themselves in each test. Karim Michael won the silver medal in the individual event. Beyond the sports results, this week was an opportunity for our young people to live a unique experience and meet athletes from across Canada.
