About Squash Québec

Squash Québec is an organization that represents the interests of amateur squash players, and whose main functions are to coordinate, develop and promote squash in Québec. It is one of 10 provincial member associations of Squash Canada.

The Quebec Squash Racket Association was founded in the late 1920s. At that time, there were only half a dozen clubs, including the Montreal Badminton and Squash Club (now the Atwater Club), the Montreal Amateur Athletic Association (MAA Club) and the University McGill to name only the most important. The growing interest in squash in Quebec has led to the opening of several private clubs. With the spectacular popularity of squash over the years, the provincial association was called upon to play an increasingly important role.

Squash Quebec is part of the Quebec sports federation “sports à quatre murs”.

From 1995 to 2005, he led the creative department of a corporate events company while intensely engaging in squash, balancing competition and training. As an elite player, he generously shares his knowledge and time with club members.

Upon arriving in Quebec in 2005, he took a break from sports to launch a film production company with his partner and start a family, before returning to dedicated squash practice a few years later.

Today, Marc is eager to invest his time in the development of squash in the National Capital, focusing on recruiting and mentoring juniors, attracting new players, and supporting the expansion of court facilities.
