Squash Quebec is a non-profit organization that has worked to promote Squash in the province for over 45 years. Membership in Squash Quebec contributes to the growth and success of the sport. Members Benefits
- Hold an official Quebec standings in sync with the Canadian standings.
- Be able to participate in all events sanctioned by Squash Quebec, including tournaments, regional leagues and the SquashSuper8 tour
- Be able to participate in training for coaches and officials
- Follow events/results on the live web platform
- Access to sanctioned event results history (since 2018)
- Ability to register for sanctioned events online.
- Monthly newsletters with all the latest squash news in Quebec
We have partnered with Club Locker to help us manage membership membership as well as manage Squash Quebec sanctioned tournaments and events. Universal Membership (squash clubs)
When your club joins Squash Québec, it’s a paying partnership. Squash Quebec will support your club for the promotion of the sport and therefore bring you new members or players interested in joining your club.
2022-2023 Benefits for the clubs
- Access to the Annual General Meeting.
- Exclusive access to Squash Québec services.
- Representation with Squash Canada
- Representation with government authorities
- Represent your organization with the government for the holding of special events (national and international tournaments)
- Accident insurance coverage to all individual members of participating clubs
- Maintain liability insurance during sanctioned events
- Free access to a free coach/trainer for an initiation to squash clinic for new players.
- Sponsorships providing benefits to member clubs, such as Dunlop balls ( at a reduced rate) for each sanctioned tournament.
- Production and distribution of information, website, posters announcing sanctioned activities for members of participating clubs.
- Promotion of your club’s activities on our social networks and website
- Produce and publish a computerized ranking of players for Quebec tournaments and championships
- Coordinate and display an activity calendar to avoid date conflicts in the presentation of your tournaments.
- Financial assistance for the training of coaches and programs coordinators
- Financial support and support for starting programs, leagues and any other development project with the help of our new development committee.
Cost
The universal membership program is based on an individual contribution of $4 per year per person (approximately the price of a Squash ball) for the only Quebec organization recognized by the government and dedicated exclusively to the development and promotion of Squash in Quebec (in the regions, in schools and municipalities and with a targeted clientele).
