Sani Boucherville launches its first SANI Spring Squash Open edition presented by COTE 100 !

We are very happy to invite all the squash community to celebrate springs arrival with a  great weekend of squash, from the 15th to 17th of March 2024, at the beautiful Sani Boucherville Club with its  4 nice side by side glass squash courts and within a 2 minutes walking distance from Hotel Imperia. DJ Frank of Ėre du Verseau production will create a festive atmosphere all tournament long around our reception and warm-up/cool-down area that will also have ping pong tables (if you or your spectators would like to use them bring your racket and balls). He will also be part of our Saturday 5PM-7PM cocktail !

Many categories offered for all levels of play! * – ​​​​​​​You will play a minimum of 3 matches 

• 8 – Men’s Open – Starts on Saturday
• 16 – A (double yellow dots ball) – Starts Friday evening
• 24 – Men’s B (double yellow dots ball) – Starts Friday evening
• 16 – Men’s C (single yellow dot ball) – Starts Friday evening
• 16 – Men’s D (single yellow dot ball) – Starts Friday evening
• 8 – Women’s Open – Starts on Saturday
• 8 –  A (double yellow dots ball) – Starts on Saturday
• 8 – Women’s B (single yellow dot ball) – Starts on Saturday
• 8 – Women’s C (single yellow dot ball) – Starts on Saturday
• 8 – Women’s D (single yellow dot ball) – Starts on Saturday

* It’s possible 2 categories will be combined, if it’s the case, the concerned participants will be contacted prior to the start of the event.

As well a first will be introduced at this tournament : 2 Lenght games categories

• 8 – Mixed A/B (Seasoned players with superior hitting quality)
• 8 – Mixed C/D (Progressing players with inconsistent hitting)

Rules for Lenght games:

• Best of 5 games format to 11 points – ​​​​​​​You will play a minimum of 3 matches
• All balls must cross the short line on the first bounce
• Let and No Let only, no stroke in case of obstruction

N.B.: For those who wants to play in two categories and pay only one registration fee, register in the category that interest you the most and send me an e-mail (at phebert_mba@yahoo.ca) indicating me which other category you would like to participate in. I will create a first come/first serve waiting list to add you to this category if it is not full after the closing of the registration and you will be advise by e-mail.

• Brunch on Saturday and Sunday
• Beverage coupon for Saturday’s 5:00PM – 7:00PM cocktail event
• Money prizes in the Men’s and Women’s Open Category.
• Gifts prizes for winners in the amateur categories.
• Matches will begin on Friday night at 5:30PM. (For out of town persons needing a late playing time on Friday evening, please contact tournament director by email for request)

*Players must be members of Squash Québec (20$ per year). Except for out of province participants.
