Clubs Championship 2024

Squash Québec is very pleased to organize the first edition of the club championship at the fantastic Atwater Club in Montreal. The only team tournament of the season, this tournament promises you great camaraderie and a good level of competition. No matter your level, your gender or your age, form a team of 5 players with your friends and represent your club to try to win the club championship. There will be a category for teams of all levels. Players from clubs outside of Quebec are more than welcome
A limit of 24 teams will be able to register for this tournament, register your team early to ensure a place in this unique tournament. When registering, indicate in the notes your team’s player roaster, your captain, your club, and a team name. During the tournament, don’t hesitate to display your club colors to create a real team atmosphere

Categories
- A maximum of 24 teams will be able to register for the tournament.
- The level of the teams will be evaluated by the organizing committee based on the Club Locker ranking of each registered player.
- The 8 strongest teams will be registered in category A. The next 8 in B, and the last 8 in C. The number of teams per category may vary in the event that fewer teams are registered.
Tournament Format
- Each category contains 8 teams initially seeded from 1 to 8 based on the level of each team member.
- The tournament will be of Monrad type, where each team will play 3 matches to obtain their final ranking between 1 and 8.
- Each match between 2 teams consists of 5 individual matches to the best of 5 games of 11 points. The team winning the most individual matches is declared the winner.
- Individual matches between 2 teams will take place on the same court. The order of play is position #1, #2, #3, #4, #5.
- All individual matches must be played under penalty of disqualification of the team (exception in the case of an injured player).
- In the event that a team has fewer than 5 players (i.e. injury to one of their players), match #5 will be considered a win by default for the team that will have a roster of 5 available players.
- The players of the teams will have to referee the matches, the finals will be refereed by certified referees if possible.
